How to Create An Account in the MyReveal App

Before You Start

You will need an email address you can open right away, because a six digit verification code is sent to it before you can go any further. If your company already has a JTR account, use your work email address. my.jtr recognizes company email domains and can place you in your organization automatically.

If you are joining a team that has already set up an Organization Account, it also helps to have your company's Organization Key to hand. This is the six digit code your team admin can copy from My Organization > Security Settings on my.jtr.org. You can still create your account without it and join later.

STEP 1: Click Create An Account on myREVEAL App

On the myREVEAL app and select Create an account on the sign in screen. Enter your first name, last name and email address.

As soon as you finish typing your email address, my.jtr checks whether its domain belongs to a company that already has a JTR account. A small spinner appears in the field while the check runs, then a check mark. One of two things happens next.

If your email belongs to a company that already has a JTR account:

• You will see a notice with your company's name. You will be added to it.
• Obtain your six-digit Organization Key from your team.
• If you would rather keep a personal account separate from your company, go back and use a personal email address instead.

If your email domain is not recognized:

• You will be asked one question: "Are you associated with a company or organization that has a JTR account?"
• Select Yes if a colleague or your employer has already set up JTR on my.jtr and you should be part of that team.
• Select No if you are setting up for yourself or for a company that is new to JTR. You must answer before you can continue.

STEP 2: Verify Your Email

my.jtr sends a six digit verification code to the email address you entered. Open the message and type the code into the six boxes on screen. You can also paste the whole code at once; it fills the boxes automatically.

If the code does not arrive within a minute, check your spam or junk folder, then select Resend code. The resend link becomes available 30 seconds after the previous code was sent. If you see "That code is incorrect. Check your email and try again," re-enter the digits carefully, or request a new code and use the newest one.

Entered the wrong email address? Select Back to return to the details screen and correct it.

STEP 3: Join Your Organization (If You Answered "Yes")

This screen appears only if your email domain was not recognized and you answered Yes to the organization question. If your email was matched to your company automatically, or you answered No, you go straight to setting your password.

Enter the six digit Organization Key your team admin gave you. As soon as all six digits are in, my.jtr looks the key up:

• Key found: the screen confirms "You'll join [Organization name]." Check that the company name is the one you expect, then select Next.
• Key not found: you will see "This key doesn't match any organization." Re-enter the digits, or ask your admin to confirm the key. Admins can find it under My Organization > Security Settings on my.jtr.org.

Do not have the key yet? Select Skip for now. Your account is created as a personal account and you can join the organization later. See the My.jtr Organization Key and Features article for how an admin shares the key and how team members are reviewed once they join.

STEP 4: Set Your Password

Enter a password and confirm it. Use the eye icon to show or hide what you have typed. Two rules apply:

• At least 6 characters
• Both fields must match

You're All Set!

The final screen greets you by name and tells you how your account was created.

If you joined an organization, either because your company email was recognized or because you entered a valid Organization Key, you will see your organization's name along with: "Your account is ready and linked to your organization. Your team admin can now assign devices and permissions to you." Your admin will find you under My Organization > Team Members and can set your role from there.

If you did not join an organization, you will see: "We've created a brand new account for you. You can add your company information from your admin panel." This is a personal account. If you later want to run your business under one shared company account, open My Profile on my.jtr.org and select Upgrade to Organization Account.

• Enter your full name and corporate email address. Wait for a few moments while the system verifies your email domain.
• If your email domain is recognized, you will see a message: It looks like your email belongs to [Company Name], which already has an account. You will be added to your organization's space.If you prefer not to be added to your organization's space, please register using your personal email.
• If this message does not appear, revealsupport@jtr.org contact us at the address.
• Once the message appears, continue by checking the boxes for Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Product Updates & News, then tap Next.
• A confirmation code will be sent to your email. Enter the code to complete the account creation process.

Using Your New Account

The same email address and password now work in three places:

• my.jtr.org in any web browser, for managing your organization, team members, devices, subscription and saved analyses.
• The myREVEAL app on iOS and Android, for running and reviewing diamond screening analyses from your phone or tablet, and for setting up a new REVEAL Diamond Detector 3S & 2S.
• Your REVEAL Diamond Detector 3S & 2S directly, when it is used in desktop mode with a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Select the profile icon at the top right of the home screen and choose Log In.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Why do I have to verify my email before anything else? Your email address is your identity on my.jtr. Verifying it first means your organization link and your password are only ever attached to an address you control, and it is what lets you reset your password later.
• My company email was recognized, but I want a personal account. Go back to the details screen and sign up with a personal email address instead. Any address on your company's registered domain will be placed in the company's organization.
• I answered "No" by mistake. Can I still join my company? Yes. Finish creating your account, then ask your team admin for the Organization Key and join from your account. Your admin can also confirm whether your email domain is registered to the organization, in which case future colleagues are matched automatically.
• I skipped the Organization Key. Did I lose anything? No. Your account works fully as a personal account. Joining the organization later moves you under the company account, where your admin manages your devices and permissions.
• The verification code never arrives. Check spam and junk folders first, confirm the address shown on screen is spelled correctly, then select Resend code. Codes sent to a company address can occasionally be held by a corporate mail filter; if so, ask your IT team to allow mail from jtr.org.
• Can I create the account on the REVEAL device itself? Account creation is designed for my.jtr.org and the myREVEAL app, where the verification code and organization steps are easiest to complete. Once the account exists, sign in on the device from the profile icon on the home screen.
