Jewellery Report

With this technique, chemical fingerprints are detected showing that diamonds are formed in nature. If an unnatural diamond is detected, this diamond is clearly stated in the JTR Jewelry Report or the product cannot receive a Jewelry Report. JTR continues to carry out research for the detection and detection automation of Natural and Lab grown diamonds.

JTR's Jewellery Reports make an endless effort to analyze the jewellery in the highest possible resolution. For this reason, JTR has developed mathematical methods for the theoretical calculation of the weights of diamonds on jewellery.

These calculations significantly increase the time required for the jewelry reporting process. For this reason, these analyzes are performed only if requested. In cases where the Carat Calculation is not requested, it is clearly stated in the JTR Jewelry Reports that the carat value is based on the manufacturer's declaration.

Research and development activities continue on technologies that will enable the automatic calculation of carat weights in complex jewellery at the JTR Jewelry Technologies Research Center.

There are two main reasons for the formation of color in diamonds. These are the secondary elements that have entered the lattice structure of the diamond and the deformation in the lattice structure. The color saturation of the diamonds increases with the increase in the amount of secondary elements. In addition to the secondary elements, as the distance traveled by the light within the diamond increases, the diamonds display more saturated colors.

The reason for using colour ranges is that the analysis of the jewellery covers more than one diamond and therefore the results are stated in groups.

In the analysis of the diamonds on the jewellery carried out with colour reference stones, it is often not possible to determine the colour subgroups to which the colours of the diamonds correspond, due to the materials used around them. Therefore, the colour ranges corresponding to the diamonds are used for colour classification.

The clarity of diamonds is determined by a correlation of the size, type, number, position, brilliance and mirror images of the inclusions they contain. Reducing the number of inclusions, reducing their size, moving away from the centre of the diamond, and decreasing their contrast and lack of reflections positively affect the clarity and increase the rarity of the diamonds.

In JTR Jewellery Reports, clarity groups are defined as LC-VVS, VS, SI and P. Since the analyzes are applied to more than one diamond in JTR Jewelry reports, it may be necessary to use clarity groups. Within a group, more than one clarity group is defined by the pareo rule.

As jewels get more complex, the number of groups needed may increase. For this reason, while there are 2 groups in JTR Mini Jewellery reports, JTR Large Jewellery Reports are used for products that require higher resolution analysis and supports up to 4 groups.

Jewellery Cards are the compact version of JTR Jewellery Reports. Simple and practical. Jewellery Cards can only contain one diamond group.

Various coatings are used in the production of jewellery. Rhodium plating, gold plating on silver, titanium nitride plating are the platings that are frequently seen in jewellery production. If coatings that affect product value are used on article, these coatings are clearly indicated in the JTR Jewellery Reports.

In jewellery production, quality wood materials and jewellery on glass surfaces are produced, albeit rarely. When materials requiring such qualified analysis are encountered, Raman Spectroscopy is used and if this method is not sufficient, JTR Jewellery Report is not produced for the jewellery.
